Hi I’m Cat. I love making a variety of quirky miniature items for hellcatcraft and I leave the quilting well alone for my mum. My background is in puppet-making and animation (I graduated from UCA Farnham last year in Animation) and I am currently entering several of my stop-motion films into many international film festivals.

More importantly, I am the owner of a crazy lurcher known as Lady Agatha, who marauds around our seaside town of Brixham, chasing squirrels and wrestling her friends on the beach, often appearing on the hellcatcraft Instagram feed.

I find Japanese culture very inspirational and am currently enjoying fashioning tiny scenes from imaginary Japanese gardens out of resin and Fimo, which I then set within vintage pottery finds. I also love hand-sewing and wire sculpture and can honestly say my hands are never still: I can’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t crafting something.

Next year I am hoping to move to Bristol or London to gain experience with an Animation studio but wherever I am I shall continue crafting unique items for our family business, while Lady A chews the chair legs at my feet!
Lily is the ‘dark horse’ of hellcatcraft, who can turn her hand to pretty much any craft you can name. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve tried to crochet, yet Lil managed to produce a perfect teddy bear on her first attempt with a crochet hook after a quick look at Youtube. Sickening! Lil makes her own
clothes, her own jewellery and presents for friends and family. She is going to Uni to study Animation in September. When pinned down by her Mother, she will on occasions produce items for hellcatcraft or help Cat with her resin miniatures for our Etsy shop.
